Aloha! --
This word, "Aloha", epitomizes the Hawaiian spirit. It means love and hello in Hawaiian. Having been a resident on Maui for over 18 years, I can truly say I have learned the meaning of aloha. I have designed my real estate career based on this cultural theme. The Hawaiian people are friendly, loyal, hard working and always stand for what they believe in, even in the face of adversity.
I promise to be this type of agent for you and to find you your dream home here in our paradise island. Mahalo for allowing my staff and me to serve you!
Originally from Florida, I grew up sailing, water skiing, and in my teens, surfing. Becoming a top real estate agent was natural for me because my mother was a #1 broker for 30 years in my home town of Cocoa, Florida. After graduating from college I moved to California where I represented a clothing company at the L.A. Merchandise Mart. I was one of the youngest women in the business there at the time.
After traveling abroad extensively I decided to change careers and pursue the motion picture business. I spent 10 years raising money for film projects and actually "packaged" a few of my own motion pictures. Before moving to Hawaii I also produced and directed a documentary film.
After marrying my husband and giving birth to my son Richard III, we moved to the Islands. I got the opportunity to live in Oahu, Kauai and eventually on the island of Maui. It was time to slow down and raise my son. Now that my son is older, I am thrilled to be back in real estate sales where I have quickly moved to the top of my company.
I have been number one in Sales and number one as a Top Producer in the South Maui Coldwell Banker office for 2003 and 2004. I am a winner of the prestigious International Presidents Premier Award. This is a designation for being in the top 1% in the nation for real estate sales. My sales for 2005 was over 26 million dollars. I specialize in resort and oceanfront properties & vacation homes. .
The challenges of real estate are small compared to the rewards of meeting fantastic people, finding them their dream properties and making some very good friends along the way. I hope we can meet soon.
Much Aloha to you.
Mahalo,
Kathryn E. Petty-Tubman
